S2000 Air Intake question...
Just a thought...While cleaning my car Im always looking around for possibilities. Has anyone ever run an air intake tube down to the fake fog light blank on the 2002? Think it would have any draw backs?
I was just looking at it and even if it added no extra flow, and as long as there was no restriction due to longer tube it might be a cool looking mod.

you should look into modded airbox people have done this before. just search for it. not sure if anyone has placed the end of the tube by the fake brake duct thing ( dont know what ppl call) it but alot of people place it in front of the raidiator. you should consider looking into a snorkel aswell
Keeping the factor air box, I simply cut the petition and with the piece I removed. I cut out two pieces. One that fit inside the hole for the resonator box and one 1/8 per side bigger. glued the two together and it made a cap to block off the hole.
it sounds good and made throttle response better. also made a noticeable difference it seems, when it pulls VTEC.

The other ones were duct taping the hole closed.....looked crappy...so I figured out a cap. Would post pics but I cant on here.
K&N fipk doesn't really suck up warm air unless you're stuck in traffic, if you keep the car moving with fipk then you're set to go without worryin about heatsoak. I drove the car for 30mins and when I came back home and opened the hood, my filter was cold and my plastic mold tube was warm. Give fipk, you wont regret it.. here's a pic of my clean version fipk.
