Hey guys! I'm completely new to this forum, but I have an issue I think this place can solve. A couple of weeks ago one of my tail lights started letting water inside. In an effort to fix it (and by following what I saw on another forum post) I removed the TL and baked it in the oven. I failed miserably. The plastic ended up warping and the whole light actually shrunk a little so it didn't even fit right when I tried to put it back in.

I bought a driver's side TL off of ebay for $100 - it looked alright in the pic but when I got it, it was wayyyy more scratched up than I thought it would be. On top of that, I had no idea there were two versions of the ap1 TL's. I have an 03 w/ the chrome rings, and I bought the v1 version.

I took my car for a wash today and now the passenger side TL also let a little water in. I just want to replace both at this point w/ a matching set. Does anyone have a pair they'd let go for a fair price?

 

Its happens bro! but no worries because you should be able to find some decent Ap1v2s in the MEMBER S2000 CLASSIFIEDS AND FOR SALE section or you trying searching on craigslist and FaceBook. I did not realize there were in any differences in AP1 tls up until my first year of ownership lol
