Default S2000 EXHAUST?

I have a stock S2000 and want to put on a good exhaust kit. I've seem some that turn it into a single exhaust, would that be better? I think I only have a few options because I'm not looking to spend $1000. So maybe the invidia is good too?
Also some are specific for turbos correct?

Thanks!!

i am running an HKS Hipower 70mm single with a heel toe automotive rear bumper cover to full in the empty hole. i have about $700 in my whole setup, that includes exhaust (got it used), bumper cover, and another resonator to shut up the exhaust. hope this helps out.

There are a several threads from people with your budget which might be able to give you more ideas.

--1k gives you a lot of options if you are willing to go used or hunt for a good deal
--single is usually louder but weighs less
--larger diameter is better for turbo but as far as I know, 3"/75mm are just fine for NA
--invidia is an OK company but if your budget is 1k, you can get a much nicer exhaust used or a better one new

suggestions:
berk 3"
HKS 75mm single
Greddy SE
J's singles (used)

and research old threads for more info

The Berk 3" headerback is probably the best sub-$1k exhaust.

What do you want the exhaust to do? Add power? sound? lose some weight?
All the above?

I would recommend the 70mm T1R single exhausts (Type One Racing). The one I have is the T1R 70R Single Stainless Steel, you can only find them used though now. It sounds really good, not high pitchy and ricey like almost every Honda exhaust. It actually has a deep tone to it, but it is a little loud with the test pipe, if you leave catalytic converter in not that bad. There is also a titanium version, but I am skeptical of titanium since I heard they crack and do not last as long at the welded areas. You can find a used on for like $600.

Other wise I would go with HKS, probably easier to find used.

I watched so many videos of S2000 exhausts and the only one that had a deep tone was the Type One Racing exhaust specifically the 70R or 70RT, the other versions with the muffler box do not sound as good.

If your looking for JDM go for J's Racing 70RR or 70RS single exhausts.
