Chuck, do you mind if I ask why you're against rolled fenders? There's nothing wrong with your views and i'm sure as hell not trying to start another debate, im just curious lol.

It's just me for the most part.

I have a gut feeling that in a few years the most valuable cars will be pure stock. Things like rolled fenders make me think a prior owner was a "stance" guy or was racing the car. A car I wouldn't want to buy. Most custom cars (any custom cars) are hideous -- it's all about taste. A certain audience thinks like me; a different audience thinks differently! A few years ago when these were $7,000 used cars folks thought differently. There are plenty of Miatas out there if anyone wants to play boy racer.

I looked at the OEM trunk lip "spoiler" but I refuse to drill holes in the body for the same reason and holes breed rust.

Guess I am a certain audience with some moderations. I wanted a stock car when I went looking and I did not mind paying for a pristine, low milage, one owner, non-tracked car.
Changes I have made can be reversed I suppose.

Covered airbag warnings with those aluminum plates with S2000 on them.
CR shift knob (yellow matches the car)
CR radio door. (kept the old one)
Honda JDM convex left side (Japanese) side mirror. (Kept old mirror)
New head unit (kept OEM radio)
Put NVH material under carpet and in doors. The 3M thinsulate can be easily removed but the other BQuiet is more tricky. Can't see it though.
Billman TCT
Fumoto (big deal)

I do not even like a front license plate so I will see how long I can last (going on 4 years) in California before they make me. No grey side markers and certainly no drilling.
I think it is a terrific car right out of the box.

I installed the OEM Ap1 trunk lip. As much as I hate drilling holes in metal I made sure to prime and paint the holes, followed by a dose of rust proofing compound on both sides. The lip uses O-rings around each hole which I used in conjunction with gasket sealer so water should not get to the holes. I think it is pretty well protected from the potential to rust, at least I'm hoping. I would not have been as comfortable having the dealer do the installation as they don't take the care to protect it from rust as I did.

And that's a reason why eBay/oem.thing exists. Perfect match on silver and tape it on and go. You'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner and no one will know you saved hundreds on such a dinky piece of plastic.

Without going too overboard, I could have imaged the CR having these mods.

Cockpit
- Red jersey mesh Recaro PP
- Momo Monte Carlo + Honda ti horn button
- UK premium floor mats
- CTR shift knob

Suspension
- Spherical bearings
- Spoon Rigid collars

Wheels/tires
- Lightweight 17" non-staggered / Bridgestone RE-11A (or something equivalent)

Transmission
- No CDV
- Metal shift collar

Misc
- More powerful sound system
- LED interior and exterior lights

That's what I did (tape-on rear spoiler):
