Default s2000 Intake and Test Pipe

I was looking to start molding my 2004 s2k
From research iv done some of the most cost effective N/A mods would be K&N FIPK and the Berks HFC. Now since I have a 2004 My tuning options are limited. I was looking at a VAFC to get tuned. Now my question is if I was to do the FIPK and HFC and get tuned with a VAFC ( which ik is only a WOT tune) How much HP/TQ could i expect to pick up ( please only respond with actual number you have confirmed)

Would you pick up any mid rang at all?

Now since I have had the car for a year and haven't touched it I'm looking to see if its even worth it or if i should just keep it stock.
Ik since the s2k is tuned so well from the factory it is hard to make power
.
K&N claims 9 hp gain off the intake.

And also if there are any other cost effective mods that are N/A please let me know, Kinda avoiding an exhaust, unless its not super loud.

Also ik the only way to get REAL power is FI but i don't have the budget and don't want to do anything major like that i want it to easily be converted back to stock.

Ok thanks guys!

Most gains NA are test pipe and 70mm single exhaust. I think dyno tests show 5-10 hp mid range and 2-5 hp up top. A tune should increase those numbers.

Yes test pipe and full exhaust. That's the restriction. Then the airbox

K&N wont make much if any power. Build a custom 3.5" and do a 70mm or larger tp and exhaust then tune it on something. I built my 3.5" intake for <$200 with a new AEM filter and Blox velocity stack.

K&N FIPK gains are in the mid-range. Everyone seems to get it in their head that the gains are claimed at the top end where this intake adds very little.

I know its 10 hp in the mid range, which is fine its more in the usable power band anyway
