Default Seats coming apart. Help?

Hey guys, the arch (behind to seat) has come apart. I bought the car this way and have not fixed it yet. I took it into O'Reilly's and the gentleman working told me that someone had tried to fix it before. He didn't know what to recommend, so I figured I come ask a smart group of fellas on the Internet. I uploaded some pictures to my photobucket. If you can, click the link below and send me some feedback please.

I added the pictures for you, FYI, those are the roll hoops, not the seats.

Someone has taken them apart before, I believe it's quite difficult to repair them from reading threads on here.

I believe that Billman250 is working on a way to reattach those using heat. I could be wrong but it wouldn't hurt to PM him about it. sam_spider is right though. It is very difficult to fuse these two pieces (the roll hoops) back together.

looks like the previous owner tried to glue them back together. first i would clean/scrape the old glue off then fuse it together with a plastic welder such as Tenax7R.
