Default Bucket Seats

This might be a dumb question but I have to buy new seats because mine are stolen and I was wondering about seat belts on bucket seats. How do you guys with bucket seats go about buckling the seat belts with the sides of the seats being so high? Do you just buckle it through the holes? If so how safe is that? I imagine if you just go over the top of the sides it would be pretty unsafe if you get in some sort of accident, right? I would just forget about the seat belt and go for just the harness but I did some research and I heard it was pretty unsafe for our cars. Any help would be appreciated. Pictures would be great. Thanks!

Well I would but I would have to pay out of pocket because the shop has my money from the insurance payout. Aftermarket seats are about the only way to go because if I order stock seats from them it would cost a lot and they aren't going to order used seats for me.
