Default Securing the Front Lip

Hello all,

I recently installed the ebay replica front lip and screwed it in along the side fenders and secured it from underneath the car as well. However, I am unsure if there is a way to secure it where the top of the lip meets the front bumper of the car. When it simply sits there, it looks like its making contact and secured, but I am able to slide my finger in between the two. I don't have a problem with it, but not sure if this could cause an issue with it becoming loose on the highway. I considered 3M taping it, but there isn't a whole lot of "contact overlap" between the lip and the front bumper.

Just wondering what most people here do. If I should just leave it, then no worries!

The only reason that happens is because the lip is very soft and it bends easily, the OEM lip doesn't do that because it is much more rigid , I think it will be fine as long as it is mounted tight.

I can see that flapping around in the wind. How about the rubber gasket there to avoid ruining the front bumper. Can be had on ebay in either gray or black.

A front splitter underneath it would fix that problem.

This guy named S~Factor custom makes them. Does outrageous work.
You will definitely need to secure it somehow. Don't just count on the screws in the side. I lost one in a deep puddle one rainy day. When I got to work I was like "Where the heck is my lip??" I saw it sitting on the side of the road all f'd up a couple of days later. I didn't use automotive double sided tape or have a splitter.

Sorry. Let me rephrase that. A quality front splitter underneath would fix that problem. smh
