Default Seibon?

So I have noticed that this company sells hoods and other body items for ridiculously low prices compared to other brands. Is the quality of the work shown in the price or is it just that they are made stateside? what gives?

Most people say you pay for what you get with them.
Ive only gotten 1 part form them before. I got a CF hood for my EJ1 the fitment was parfect and I had no complaints about it

got a seibon MG style hood, i bought it to paint it, guy told me it had imperfections on it, he was right, still perfect fitment, works like any mugen hood would, just a little heavier, looks great, just cant wait to paint it

but no cracks, no problems nothing

to be honest i dont think its worth it to shell out the extra money for the authentic

^^strictly my opinion though

it's cheap. some people have hit ones with not so good fitment, but there are many with good fitment. Seems like some luck is required . I mean authentic ones are gonna cost you a fortune, not much option there unless you're a baller. The thing is though, it'll be mainly for the look, as the weight will be the same if not heavier.

Luck definitely seems to have a large part in it.
I've read some horror stories regarding seibon hardtops,
but I've also heard people say that fitment was no issue at all..

I'd really like to get one of their hard tops but I have an aftermarket roll bar so I don't know if it fits. If I was sure it would clear the bar I'd order one and let you guys know.....

lately seibon has stepped up the game. if you look at some of the stuff people bought from them a few years back, fitment was a nightmare. but between myself and a friend, we have bought 4 seibon pieces in the past year and fitment has been excellent on 3 of them. one trunk fitment was off but i also contribute it to the fact that i have a huge wing on it without trunk springs. quality of the weave is nowhere near what you would get from mugen or ASM or some other authentic jdm company, but weave quality is something barely anyone would notice, even yourself, unless you REALLY look for it.
