my votes:

Moddiction Anvil 2 Textured Shift Knob
Blox Neo Chrome Spherical Shift Knob(has a natural color look to it compared to the uniform moddiction one)

I am having the hardest time deciding between the Anvil or Anvil 2. I'm leaning towards the Anvil because it's round and similar to how the CR Shift Knob is. And I know Honda specifically made the CR Knob round to make it slightly shorter and increase the sporty feel. But man that Anvil 2 looks nice to.

I'm coming from a stock 2005 knob.

Mine claims to be a CR shift knob which looks like the knob a few posts above only with yellow rather than red lettering. Part No. 54102-s2a-c00. This also fits the Civic so I'm not completely sure of the parentage but I doubt Honda made a special knob for a few hundred cars.

The knob and CR radio door freshen the interior a bit and I like the feel of the knob. Gets hot in the sun, though,

I have the Anvil 2 Black Textured and its great. But to switch it up i just ordered the FN2 CTR Knob. If i like it more, ill post the Anvil 2 for sale. Ill update back once i drive with it some. Arrives Monday from ICB.

Ive had the AP2 OEM, Ricks VooDoo, Anvil 2, Mugen, and now will try out the FN2 CTR knob. Cant go wrong with any of them to be honest. Just need to see what feels right to you.

I just bought my s2k a few weeks ago. 03 with 75k miles. Has the Titanium shift knob on it. It feels good, has a good weight,(254grams) to it but is a bit tall. I have a Ricks's Voodoo Shift knob but it is only 147grams and feels a bit small in the hand at 2". I was talking to a friend of mine who has a Lotus Exige. He has "Jim Clayton's Big Balls" Shift knob. Same size of 2" but weight is 378 grams. So far I really like the weight of the JC knob. I've only put a few miles on with it so I will give more feedback after more seat time.

I'm very happy with the Moddiction anvil. I wanted something heavy and also sit low, shifting is buttery smooth.

Regarding weight, this is one area where generally more weight is desirable than less. Gives the shift more momentum. More solid, complete shift feel.

Personally I prefer the look, and more importantly the feel, of a round shift knob. I love the appearance of the CR knob, but it actually weighs a little less than a stock ap2 knob. So I went Anvil I, and really like it.

I wasn't looking for lower, so I just have it installed on the taller side of its range. Set the pair of locking nuts so it doesnt screw down as far.
