I didn't like the shifting feel when the knob is too low so I put the nut on. Its only about half an inch lower than stock. I personally think it looks stranger without the nut since the bottom of the knob is flat it looks weird :/

I love my 08 Honda Civic Si shift knob, courtecy of Honda of Santa Maria hahaha, its dope.. its the stock shiftknob kinda.. but has a stripe of leather and numbers are red instead of black.. a little heavier too!

not to versed in the knob region but because of the color of my roll bar i went with the long since discontinued Project Mu green/teal shift knob. its NOWHERE near as wieghted as other knobs even lighter than the OEM one. but i like it and the looks are incomparable.

Honestly, J's is pretty but I don't see how it's better than any other round ones out there. I would never spend $200 on a knob. It's just too overrated. My OEM Ti version is plenty for me. I've tried various other knobs, but I don't see any difference enough to justify even spending $100. If you prefer heavier one, go with TWM M1 Abrams stainless steel. If you prefer light, just go with Rick's Alum. They are priced fairly reasonably.

I just installed a momo gothum and it's really nice! I got so used to the big round shift knob on my audi this is a perfect fit...I will take pics later...for now here is a stock photo
