Nike batter's glove until it cools down a bit.

The Moddiction Anvil II is the best shift knob I've ever owned, and I've had plenty of them.

I liked heavy knobs in my civics but in the S2000 I have a titanium ARC shift knob, its light and I love it

I actually had the Moddiction anvil in my STi and loved it. I have a JDM Civic Type-R knob in the S. It's light, round, and burns the sh#$ out of me when it's hot out but I love it. They can be had for less than $100

i have the moddiction heavy ball one in gloss black. absolutely love it, although it took me like a month and a half to get it after some issues, which he was more than happy to help me out and give me a discount. Great guy, great customer service, and a sponsor! Buy with confidence.

It can scratch fairly easily since it is powder coated. Basically like a plastic coating.

i am gonna supposed Moddiction worded that poorly, i dropped mine onto tile when i threw it at a friend (long story) and even with my rings on it doesnt scratch it up, its still perfectly shiny and smooth. I WILL SAY THIS: on hot days, be VERY careful to make sure you grab it solidly. My sweaty hands have slipped off of it and misshifted once or twice. its fine usually. if you dont drive like a racecar you should be fine

I just meant it gets fine scratches in the surface. Nothing you can feel. Just kind of like swirl marks you see in black paint.
