Default Short Shifter

Would you consider a short shifter a nice upgrade to the s2k or the stock one is as good as it gets?

why bother the stock one is perfect already? I've read somewhere short shifters can put strain on syncros so why take the risk?

S2k stock shifter is really good already. Possibly the BEST out of all the cars I've tried. I'm happy with stock.

I wouldn't touch it. The stock shifter is near-perfect already.

Moddiction isn't going to be greatly improved over the Axial flow. I bought one(Axial flow) about a year ago because I thought I wanted it. I've been going threw the storage looking for my OEM one. Get a counter sunk knob and be done with it. OEM with a Voodoo knob was the best combo I've ran. Would like to try a heavy moddiction knob though.

Not to try and plug my product here or anything, but I also didn't think a short shifter would be a big improvement since this transmission already shift so nice. After using mine for a while and swapping oem back in to feel it, it felt insanely sloppy and just loose with long throws etc.
The short shifters make the throws soo much more precise than oem and quite a bit shorter. Of course a short shifter is not for everyone, but anyone that has tried mine has said it is tons better feeling than stock and right away wanted one for themselves.
For those that say oem is perfect I say you haven't tried one of the available short shifters out there, or are just not a fan of the tighter more precise feel they give.
Most short shifters out there will make the shift need slightly more effort, but to me that is also a plus as it really tightens the feel of the shifts.
