Has anyone removed the bolt on the stock shifter to screw in the shift knob even further?

^I believe most people did. Removing that jamb nut... that's the whole point.

If you can find an Axial Flow shifter here used off of a member, you will absolutely love it. I just got one a week ago and I have only been thinking about the next time I get to drive her. I just put on a Razo 375 gram knob on today and it made it even more orgasmic.

Well I removed the nut and screwed the shifter in a bit more. The height is much better, but now the engraving on the knob is misaligned lol. It looks pretty janky. I have to decide if i'm going to leave it as is, or just get an aftermarket knob. I really like the stock AP1 shift knob too. Darn.

just put some locktite and back the knob off until the shift pattern is straight.

yeah i think the only option for LHD is a counter sunk kob. i have tried looking into a short shifter but no luck. :[ but if one comes out ill def be the first one.
