Default Shorter Shifter

Hey guys,

I'm looking to make my shifter sit lower to the ground but I really don't like any of the counter-sunk knobs. Are there any kits left to make the shifter sit lower such as C's and Axial Flows? C's is discontinued and Axial Flow seems a bit pricey. Can this be done yourself using the stock shifter?

Any input would be great,

Thanks!

Axial flow is a quality piece. Had mine in the car about a year now and does exactly what you're looking for.

I picked up my axial flow for 150. they're out there, you just need to find one and jump on it when it pops up

I've got the CR knob in mine.....sits lower and is a plain ball type. Works well....and I think you can get them for something like $60.

CR knob isn't even countersunk. Plus it's got etched gear numbers so you need the jamb nut to align them.

The CR knob is lower than the stock knob for sure. Not sure what the problem with needing the jamb nut is.

Works fine for me....

Think he was saying that, since you need the jamb nut it does not really sit very low. It is just a smaller knob so the top height of it is lower by a little bit.
