Default Shorter Throttle Cable?

If a person wanted to get rid of the throttle cable loop in the engine bay, is there a shorter cable that can be used? I'm going to relocate the cruise control box on my 2005, and would also like to get rid of the cable loop around the brake master cylinder.

the loop is there for functionality. If you go straight from the stock firewall location to the TB, then it might bind. You check a local junkyard for a shorter cable if you want--but just be aware that it might affect your throttle.
