Default Simple wheel spacer question.

I have a set of AP1 wheels that I picked up some RE01Rs for. These wheels are going to be used only for hard driving in the mountains or track.

I also have a set of AP2 wheels that I am going to put some cheap all seasons on to DD. I want a 10 or 15mm spacer to make the AP2's sit flush in the rear.

Will stock AP1 wheels fit with the spacers (project kics) ok? I am afraid the original studs will stick out, preventing the wheel from fitting properly.

you will be fine with those spacers and any kinda of wheel a spacer wont prevent a wheel from fitting onto the hub. the thing im worried about is are you going to be running extanded wheel studs?

I'm not running extended spacers. My question is will the old studs keep the ap1 wheels from sitting flush on the hub?

Project kics bolt on to your existing studs and have new studs of their own.

OP, I'm running 25mm in the rear and the studs are almost flush with the face of the spacer. I've heard of people cutting their stock suds so the wheel can sit flush against the spacer with smaller spacers. I'm not saying I recommend doing this, but it's something to take into consideration.

So they will not fit with project kics spacers without modification?

From what I recall there is no cut-out in the back of the AP1 wheels, allowing the stud to fit in. That means you'd either have to replace the lugs or cut them.
