Default Skunk2 70MM Test Pipe

Just received my order from skunk2.com. As soon as i opened the box i start to question it. I had one for my integra years ago and it was nice and clean with the skunk2 badge. This one has a ton of scratches on the outside & no s2 badge. What bothered me the most was when i looked inside. It was filled with small metal shavings and burrs. Wheres the quality control.... I hope this is not the way its suppose to be. Anyone bought one before and did it look as horrible as this. I am disappointed. I would like to know before I decide to contact skunk2 customer service (which has been pretty good in the past) for a replacement or a refund.

It looks like the piping on their exhaust systems. Their resonators and canisters are polished but the rest of the piping looks just like that. The stuff on the inside comes from the welding of the flanges. It wont hurt anything. It is only a test pipe after all. Making it beautiful is like putting racing stripes on a hammer; won't help anything.

I guess i'll hang onto it if this is normal. It shouldn't be though. The insides should be clean at least. I'll probably just hit it with compressed air to get most of the metal shavings out. Looks like something i can get off ebay for $40 though.

You are not far off... it is probably made by the same manufacturer. Just rebadge, resold.
