Default Slimline Fans for OEM Radiator

I'm trying to do some custom intake duct work but I've run into a problem with the passenger side fan shroud. Does anyone know of a aftermarket slim line fan that can be paired up with the oem radiator? Specifically looking for one that just bolts right on and doesn't require any custom work. I tried searching but every thread I find people are only using slim line fans with koyo or fullblown radiators.

Thanks1

Yes FAL makes one that you can get directly from them for around 325 shipped. Follow this link https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/961...#entry21816165

This is the best deal because I see the exact same fans being scalped on the market place for $500+, beats me when you can get them NIB here for 325 shipped.

Mishimoto offers a fan shroud + fans that bolt on the factory mounting points. You will need to modify the harness for it to be plug&play though.

Thanks guys. Can you give me a model number for the mishimoto slim fan that fits our OEM rad? How hard is the modification for the plug? Gonna compare prices.

I bought from them, in case it doesn't work the user id is kurumamotoring.

Fantastic shipping and no issues whatsoever.

You get just wire pigtails on the fans. I elected to cut off my OEM plugs from the fans and solder them to the Mishimoto fans with some heatshrink. You could just as easily use spade connectors but I didn't want to mess with that. I figured 98k miles on my fans - if I want to go back to stock I can just buy new ones

Thanks,

Did you guys have to pull the radiator to install these? If I can avoid having to flush the fluid that would be awesome.

I swapped out to an aluminum radiator when I did mine, but I removed the stock fans before taking out the radiator. The passenger fan just has the two bolts up top and has posts that slip into holes in the bottom - very easy to take out. The driver's fan has two bolts up top and one at the bottom. If you take out the air box you should be able to do all of it without removing the radiator.

SPAL are really good.
just make sure that you get "extreme "performance" high CFM models.

i've used this one in the Miata and it was very very strong:

I don't see a CFM rating on the mishimoto slim fan.
