I went back a few pages in the archives and couldnt find anything about this. So i decided to ask is it possible to switch a rear plastic window to a glass one? Are there shops anyone knows of in central cali that do this?

Every shop ive called said its not possible, because the glass is heat sealed unlike the plastic.

 

Yeah, change year model top to glass rear. early S,s have two piece top. you know insurance covers window replacment?

 

You have to replace the entire top.

 

yeah i figured. So would it be possible to sell a spare glass window i have or do they not replace them for ct

I believe some glass windows are replaceable but im not sure. sorry.
