So I am looking to replace my 02 soft top. Been reading reviews on brands Haartz, Ez, Robbins etc.

So I also noticed that my convertible top straps also need to be replaced. Were these part of the OEM top? have the cloth w/ heated rear glass. When looking at relacement tops most do not come with these straps.

What am I missing?

Welcome aboard. If you go to the top of this Forum you will find DIY/FAQ/? Scroll down to the Body section and there are a few threads on top installation.. If you go down to Communities you can find North Texas. It their pinned blue stickies you will find a top thread by Clovis. Start there......

P.S. I run a Robbins Cloth Glass conversion on my '01.

 

What he said. If budget is not a problem, a canvas top is a good choice since it is not affected by cold weather.
