if the j's one's are listed for $235 i wonder how much these spoon ones will go for.

Um Ok, yeah, why the hell are some aluminum bushings $235? Besides the fact they are made in Japan is there something I'm not seeing that makes these difficult or tedious to manufacture? Why isn't someone with access to a lathe cranking these things out for $50-$70 if they really do anything for steering feel? I know it's an S2000 and all but come on, where are the folks making simple parts for those of us that aren't lost in the JDM fog?

These are expensive because things in japan are expensive. If you look at the price in yen, it almost converts to the same price here, including shipping from overseas. Does it make sense here? Probably not, however no body seems to make them here yet so what alternative is there. The only alternative is to pass on this part or suck it up and buy them. If American companies would make parts like these for our cars, then there wouldn't be issue.

By all means, feel free to step up and put up the costs to do just that. You will make a future selling these to a very limited market .
