Post Just ordered Aj Racing steering ridge sleeve kit

As the title says I ordered Aj Racing (based in Vancouver) metal steering rack bushings and should be getting them around wednesday.

http://www.aj-racing.com/catalog/pro...?productid=437

I'll try and have them installed by friday.

Hopefully this mod will improve steering feel.

I was originally thinking about just maxing out the caster but that wouldn't really give me more vibrations through the steering wheel as to what the front tires are doing.

With my previous 2003 WRX I installed Whiteline steering rack bushings and it did help a little but it was barely noticeable. This times the steering rack bushings aern't just harder they are metal so I hope the difference will be better!

Has anyone done this mod?

wow after looking through the internet on aluminum steering rack bushings for other cars I was stunned to see they sell for about 50$ and the ones I bought were 200$! I guess it's because the S2K is an expensive car to begin with...

AJR is not the cheapest either...maybe one of the best, but you pay for it

VERY curious to see how this turns out. Are you putting them in yourself or getting them installed? If you DIY, pics would be great!!

I'd look into doing this myself if you get good results.
