Default some custom mirrors

I was stripping the excess wiring out of the doors today when I remembered I had some old mirrors from my sport bike up on the shelf - I had an extra door jam with mirror holes for some spa gt's so I bolted it on and tried them.

These are not how I would mount these I would drill a new hole a little higher so I didn't have to angle them. Also I would swap out for black oxide hardware

I drove around a little bit and they provide excellent long distance visibility and they were vibration free

size difference vs spa gt

even though these arent the mirrors I am eventually going to use they were only 10 bucks each and work very well so I may use them for a little while.

They do work extremely well for motorcycles though so if anyone wants them
Amazon Amazon

Tried them on the more forward of the two holes

Not very there is schematics of the doors on majestic hondas parts site - I've been looking at a bunch of different types of mirrors since most of the race spec ones are theft prone and arent really that usable.

I saw this car awhile back and started to think about changing it up. I didn't like these but apparently they work very well.

maybe do some bullet style

A friend of mine is into old mustangs and is going to dig up a set of these he has with a PC black base

Or these which would slot right into the same holes

or even these in black

or even a totally different type

The main thing is I need functional mirrors not stylish mirrors like other people.

The painters tape is temporary, my old tires rubbed slightly so I cut off the tabs and I wanted to wash the car of the metal dust. I'm ordering a piece of dibond for a splitter today so I'll probably pick up some black vinyl to cover the holes for now.
