I bought a sparco evo 2 along with the sparco seatmounts, sliders and side brackets. After messing with everything for 2 days i managed to put everything together and went to the car for a test fit. The seat is touching the sides of the car, and looks like it wont fit, the problem is not the wing but the bottom part near the wall and the gearbox. I tried to sit in it and it sits 1-2 inches higher. i thought about drilling the base and bolting the side brackets directly to the seat base and strip the car to make it fit but my wife wont be able to drive the car without being able to adjust her seat. Any thoughts? has anyone tried to use this sat with different rails and slider mechanism and got it to fit in the car?
