Default Spoiler? Beginner Mods?

Just curious as to what kind of spoilers are the best type. I know this goes based off each person's own opinions however I would like to spend $1,000 and under on a spoiler. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm also planning to add an exhaust and a CAI, Am i missing anything important?

Oem lip spoiler (ebay knockoff- great quality around 120) oem... a little more.... intake K&N (225) or find a more expensive alternative. Exhaust.... purely you're ears choice. Price varies.

1000 is more than enough for a spoiler of your choosing. OEM spoilers run around 400 painted new. For a few hundred more you could get a Tamon, Backyard Special, or ASM. I personally am partial to the JDP although it is a polarizing piece.

First mod should be a membership on here and lots of time reading and learning about your car.

just to clarify:

Spoiler: Incorrectly referred to as a 'wing', as well as 'deck wing'. usually flush mounted, used to smooth airflow off the rear of the vehicle, and reduce drag.

Wing: raised foil, see CR.

A wing is not a beginner mod... a spoiler could be.
