Default Spoon ECU vs stock ECU

Okay, im finding it hard to believe the spoon ECU does much difference if any ok it lowers the vtec point etc, but my car only has a testpipe and modified airbox and it appears that the spoon ecu doesnt really do much, i dont have any deltas.

I know i dont have spoon header and x, y z nor im going to, but i feel im wasting my money.

After reading this thread, it has made me think as its a similar setup to my car.
