Spoon Engine Mount Ring

So I recently installed an ETD and loved the way it made shifting smoother and changed the driving feel. I started looking for options on upgrading engine mounts but I still wanted to keep daily drivability. I ran across these.. but I'm hoping that they're not as drastic as actual engine mounts. Anybody have any reviews on them? Do they act like real engine mounts? I'm hoping they'll be a little milder because I heard even the 75a innovative engine mounts make the cabin very noisy and increase vibrations.

If upgrading mounts Hasport is the only way to go.but I've heard mixed reviews on the rings however majority of the reviews I've seen seem to enjoy them paired with the differential collars.depending on your wallet also the rings may be best bang for buck since I do not know your financial standings. But for the rings I wouldn't pay spoon money I'd look exedium racing and blox who also make the same product and usually cheaper
^ nice bro, good looks! I didn't know Blox sold them.. I found them for $80 on Amazon LOL. I might try those out since they're cheaper and won't be much of a loss if I don't like them. Much better option than upgrading engine mounts imo.
I bought a pair of the engine mount rings thinking they’d be like diff collars that reduce some of the play in the diff mounts. From the pictures it looks like they remove the play in the top half of the mount but the bottom half of the mount is still allowed to flex.
When I went to put them in I found that the bottom half of the engine mount doesn’t flex at all – it’s metal. So the rings don’t remove some of the flex, they remove all of it and turn your mounts into solid mounts. I didn’t install them and fortunately Gotuning took them back. If they made these out of rubber they might actually stiffen things up just enough.
I replaced them with Spoon engine mounts because I like the OEM mount design better than any of the aftermarket designs. The Spoons are good mounts if you’re looking for a firm engine mount. The rubber is higher durometer than stock and they are not liquid filled (solid rubber). They were really bad at highway speeds until I installed an ETD (Ingalls). Even with the ETD, if I coast at 50 or 60 with the clutch in or in neutral (let the engine idle), it feels like a shimmy or wheel out of balance.
I drive my car in the winter and everything in the interior rattles so I’m going back to the stock mounts.

If we enlarge the center hole, where it surrounds the top disc area of stock mount, so there is, say, a couple mm clearance all around, maybe 3mm or so, guessing could achieve this result. Mount can flex some, but then all further movement is arrested after at set point. Mount acts normal, until it acts solid.
Thoughts?

NecroThread resurrection. Just discovered existence of these things. Wondering if the effect expressed above, to act like diff collars so they merely limit excessive movement, but until that point add no real nvh, can be achieved by simple mod to these engine mount rings.
