Default Spoon Hardtop Install Instructions

Hey, I just picked up a replica Spoon hardtop and was looking to see if anyone had instructions on how to install or could tell me how to do it. I'd search it but the search function is broken for a bit... Thanks in advance.

you should use a dremel and grind the holes in the latches into an Oval shape. This will allow you to install the latches in a further back position and it will make the top seal better in the front.

I noticed you removed your soft top... is there a way to do it without removing the soft top?

just remove the nuts that hold th softtop on in the back and slide the mounting brackets in place. Like this: http://pandlmotorsports.com/images/s2k/gre...of_Manual_E.pdf

I don't particularly understand why Spoon does not just design the back portion to flip open like on a fastback (NOT a hatchback. Fastback ala BMW 5-series Gran Turismo, 1st gen Mazda 6, etc.).

On FRP it may be unsafe to do so without cracking, but on CFRP? That CF will take the weight any day.
