Default spoon monoblock brakes

hey guys, im in australia but i think this is a question for the american scene.

i have just fitted my spoon monoblock calipers to my s2000. and now waiting for my te37 black editions to come.

but while waiting for my wheels, i went to go fit my stock rims and they do not even nearly fit over the monoblock calipers. haha

so my question is... will my te37 blacks fit over them??? 17 x 9 +45 all round... im hoping they fit over these spoon brakes.... :S

anyone know at all?

te37s are designed for big brakes- ID guess yes, but if not- just mail the spoon calipers to me

I know that 17x9 +40 and 17x8.5 +49 clear so I would think 17x9 +45 would clear. The only way to know for sure is to put them on.
Stock wheels require a 15-20mm spacer to clear the spoon calipers.

There is a template you can print out somewhere on this site specifically for Spoon calipers. Print it out, cut, and find out for sure.

So I went and got four 7mm wheel spacers... I put 2 on the front right wheel =14mm and the stock wheel still did not fit. Lol I'm just sitting tight for these 37's to arrive. C how we go.
I'll look for this template.

Make sure to protect the brakes when you test fit the wheels. Painters tape or a thin rag should work.
