Default Spoon Propeller Shaft

Is it very beneficial or just a waste of money i was going to buy one since they are only 300 and dyno it.

you're not being serious, are you?

The advantages to running a lighter driveshaft are slightly more pronounced than a lighter flywheel and pulleys...the reduced rotational mass allows more energy to be transferred to the rear diff, instead of being wasted spinning up a heavy shaft.

I don't know many that are running them though...I thought they were much more expensive than $300

will the power show on a dyno? powers the same.

I wont deny it gets there more efficiently.

Good luck finding one for $300. The Honda factory prop shaft (upon which it is based) is over $600 iirc. Probably a typo. What site offers this? inline-four.com?

There is a CF driveshaft I saw somewhere but it was at least $2k

the Spoon propeller shaft is not carbon and is actually around $300-$400, but from the given descriptions, it only lowers the weight of the stock driveshaft by .1 kg/cm

^^ but remember you only really have spoon sticker rights if you have a fairly important item from them, and a fairly important spoon item for a price as low as that is hard to come by.

inlinefour has them for $322 and the kg/cm2 refers to the balance and that is a whole lot of diference in balance
