Me too ... too bad the ASM price is in excess of $5k. Maybe I'll win at the casinos someday? Haha

I guess you learn something everyday. I had no idea that the Z came with a CF shaft from the factory. Kinda makes me feel left out now. Haha.

The CF driveshaft that is about to be released by Password JDM will have the hub/housing units in solid billet aluminum rather than steel to save some additional weight.

My S2000 is currently the test bed for it.

They bought six driveshaft from Honda to do their R&D, each shaft itself was hollow but tucked inside its tubing was rolled up cardboard (weird) for a Honda oem product, never knew about this.

its funny b/c for 5.0 mustangs they sell CF driveshafts for like 700$ i believe? and im pretty sure trans to rear in a 5.0 is a much longer distance than that of an S2000, I could be wrong but im just assuming.

Any reason somone hasnt had a carbon one custom made from the OE specs?? i cant imagine it being to expensive?

You really can not compare a Mustang drivetrain to the S2000. If you look at the end hubs (connectors) the S2000 is more complex, even more complex than the driveshaft of an AWD system of the STI.
