theres two versions of the snorkle.

the one you're talking about (goes with the S-Tai Front bumper) does require you to cut your hood.

desmond your 100% sure on this? im getting mixed answers. Dont want to cut into the hood unless theres a clean way to do it, and im not really a fan of aftermarket hoods.

Desmond is absolute correct

There are two versions of the Spoon CF-Kevlar snorkel

1.) S-Tai Snorkel (requires cutting of OEM hood because it has a larger inlet at the kink above the radiator support or it will fit with the Spoon CF hood)
2.) Regular CF-Kevlar Snorkel (Fits OEM hood and bumper)

I am VERY sure, reason is because i've owned both versions.

the S-tai version is WAY betteer than the normal version.

wouldnt think twice about hood cutting after feeling the difference.
