I think the SRS light will be on when you put on an aftermarket steering wheel, regardless of what hub you use.

The Spoon hub comes with a bypass for the airbag according to Science of Speed.

u don't want to disable the srs system cause then the pass side airbag wont work. if w/e hub u get doesn't come with the srs fix just grab a 2ohm fuse and connect it to the srs plug that plugs into ur steering wheel airbag. this way ur srs system/ecu still thinks u have ur airbag in and u wont throw a srs light. i did this when i went with an aftermarket wheel and when i got into an accident the pass side airbag blew so i know this works fine.
