Spoon Subframe Collars instructions translation
This. I align my car twice a year, once during winter and once for summer for track season. My alignment numbers almost never change from the initial setup. If our subframe was THAT sloppy, the alignment would never hold. Torque your bolts down, and it'll never move.
Oh man i apologize my grammar is piss poor guess that means im 100% wrong, and yeah you must be right that im assuming they must work because someone from spoon says so huh ?? I mean its not liked i have wrenched on the gardella racing pontiac solstice or red bull drift camaro huh ?? And yeah you know compared to an 800hp drift camaro our s2000s are technological marvels right ?? Man get off it, any gap or weakness will be revealed on a track day or a racetrack plain and simple. If your taking your car around corners at high speed and or using chicanes and bumps believe me you will notice the difference right away. Once again im hoping my grammar is piss poor so the punctuation nazis can crawl out the woodwork. Im not trying to be an ass but sometimes people are funny and get so butthurt when you dont agree with them. And the reason the vitz was used in the promo was to show the actual effect they will have on an everyday car. But if your serious about racing, or want to be , well then its a supporting mod. Kind of like every cold air intake. People buy it for horsepower, but guess what, without headers, a high flow cat and free flowing exhaust and a proper tune, what do you have, nothing but a whomp whomp switch. But every little thing helps especially when your truly serious sbout something
Depending on the track (if there's a lot of kerbing), I need to do an alignment after the event cause my alignment shifts due to the harsh impacts.

But, still, you've ignored all the questions I've posed to you...
FYI, had a track day this weekend.
I marked my subframe bolts with whiteout. I retorqued the bolts to the subframe, then marked them for clocking (bolt head to frame) and shift (around bolt on the frame) on Thursday.
Ran the car Sunday at a PCA event, I have RA1s... so a lot of grip, and the course has a lot of kerbing I tend to use. Also, after the event, I managed to not slow down for a speedbump and had an audible suspension crunch...
Had the car up in the air last night for a routine, after-event check up... all of my markings on the bolts and subframe are exactly where I marked them. Bolts didn't shift, nor did the subframe.
I'd save the $250.
