Spoon Subframe Rigid Collars
After a clutch change, I experienced the subframe bolt situation first hand.
It was clear that no matter how hard you try to return it to the original position, it may shift by a few mm to either side when you bolt it down. On the alignment I saw the numbers confirming this.
I don't think there is anything wrong with just compensating for it with alignment but I would rather have my car be perfectly straight in the first place.
I doubt there will be much of a tangible improvement beyond that.

I've had them for about 6 months - they go beyond just filling the bolt holes and provide a solid and flat mounting surface between the sub frame and body. There is a English version of the spoon video on youtube explaining them and I have to agree with the claims that they improve handling and reduce road noise and vibration.
