Does the spoon test pipe cause the CEL to come on. I have a 2007 model and was wondering if i get this test pipe. Thanks for the info!!!

I do not have a Spoon test pipe, nor any experience with one, but unless it has a built in CEL fix (which I don't think it does), then yes, you will throw a CEL. Even people who have test pipes with built in CEL fixes sometimes throw a CEL on the 06+. If you search, you will find that some folks have had success using spark plug non-foulers to keep the CEL from coming on.

 

I also have heard of cel with 06+ models even with cellfix. I have one on my 2001 and have no problems. You might want to check out berk technologies -- it might be cheaper there.

 

you might want to get a high flow cat the spoon might give the CEL it our ECU there more picky then 05 and lower.

 

i had to use two cel fixes to work.

 

The spoon doesn't have a CEL fix. You'll throw a CEL for sure.
