Default SRS light

Hi guys,

I installed a aftermarket steering wheel (nsx-R). I put a 2.2ohm resistor on the yellow SRS connector, and reset the srs light with this DIY: http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=308198

The light resets itself, but comes back on again... So there is a problem.
The resistor is properly connected to the yellow srs connector.

Is there something I'm missing here?

Thanks!

Jasper

I did this same thing with my passenger airbag, I however bought two 1ohm resistors, put them in series and made my own connector so I could return to stock very easily. Measure your resistor and make sure it's close to the resistance you're trying to meet.

It's a connector with 2 pins. It's connected the right way....

Options:
1. get the SRS code pulled then go from there, it may not have anything to do with drivers airbag.
2. Reconnect the drivers airbag, reset the code as you have been, if it returns, you have other problems, if it doesn't, your resistor is the issue.

So I searched a bit further... seems that disconnecting the seatbelts also result in a srs fault.
I removed them because I run takata's 4p.
Another lesson learned

thnx!
