Default Status Ring seat bolt size PLEASE HELP

So I picked up a status seat from a member on here and never got the bolts that attach the seat to the rails. Can someone PLEASE help me and tell me the bolt size if they know or if they can check on their own seats.

Most seats usually use M8 x 1.25 threads. For length, 20mm should do the trick. Go to your local hardware store, pick one up and try it out. I like using socket head cap screws for seats. I also recommend using lockwashers and/or some loctite blue on the threads.

Good luck!

I tried those (M8 x 1.25) and tried 20mm and one size shorter in length and they screw in at first and then get tight after a few turns. Im scared to force and stripping the threads. Also, there is M8 coarse and fine threads.

The 1.25's are course threads - try the 1's. They shouldn't bind with depth - you will cross-thread or strip the threads on one or the other if you force things. Having said that, a quick check in the Manual shows them as 8x1.25's (F) and 10x1.25's (R) so it would appear that they are 'keyed' so as not to be confused. Like wheel nuts there is a tightening sequence specified - RF, LF, RR, LR and the torque is 18 lbf.ft (F) and 22 lbf.ft (R). Good luck.
