Default stock muffler sizes

looking for ap2 (05') muffler(s) dimensions.

looking to pick up a couple of magnaflow mufflers to replace the stock ones. and wondering if anybody knows the dimensions of the stock muffler.

I think all I need it, exhaust tubing size into the muffler, length of the muffler body, and width of the body.

Anybody willing to help me on this?

Also opinions on magnaflow mufflers?

Ap1 muffler which is the same as Ap2, 13.5"length 12"width 8"height and pipe size going into muffler i would say around 2 inches, no bigger. These measurements are about 90% accurate, when i have some more time i'll double check them.

I was thinking about doing this as well. You might want to consider making your own single outlet which would save you half the money in parts and actually makes more sense considering we only have 1 manifold on our inline 4s.

I'm worried about the sound. I don't like the raspy sound at the top end. I would like to avoid that

(weird I posted a reply, when when I came came back, it wasn't there)

Dude, relax...this is not "operators standing by"...you won't necessarily get a response in 2 1/2 hours.

Stock is 57.2mm = 2.252"
