Default Suspension

Alright so I was considering on going with the Espelirs to lower my car. I was looking to go with a more aggressive ride height with a some what good ride quality with lowering springs. Someone I know is selling a T1R set of coilovers that are used and possibly has a blown shock or two. All in all after getting a new shock I should come out spending $500-$600 at most. I don't autocross or at least I haven't yet but something for the street: at least for now. Should I go with this versus buying a new set of lowering springs.

I was going to go with springs but I ran across a deal for a full T1R suspension that has a blown shock. I guess my question is would, this be a good quality suspension to go with by it being used over lowering springs (mainly for the street). I am planning on replacing the shock before installation. I've done a search but could only find info. on comparing the T1R with the KW.

If you just want lowering for the look...then just get lowering springs. Coilovers are expensive overkill to just lower the car.

I'm not selling the T1R's. Someone I know is and I was thinking about buying the set. The set is used and has a blown shock; possibly two shocks. They go pretty low. I didn't know the quality and was wanting to get an opinion on the set versus the lowering springs.

What do you plan to replace the blown shocks with? More importantly, are they within specs of the originals? Just get something new. No sense in buying someone's problem and making it your own. I have Eibachs and they are great.
