So I got my exhaust, header, and wheels are on the way. My next question is about lowering the car. I notice that many are using Espeiler springs or Eibach. I've also had good experience with H&R in the past. My last car was a 2000 Prelude lowered on Tanabe Sustec coilovers. Great handling but really harsh and it was a pain to adjust. I was thinking about going with one of the springs above and maybe koni yellows. Or should I go with a actual coilover system? What are everyones experience? Thanks . Can't wait for our upcoming drives.
Oh one more thing how about Ground Control and Koni?

Thanks
Huy

PS: Thank you Larry, Tony and David for all your help.

I've been wondering the same. I heard swift springs are good. There's actually a member selling a set right now. I'm probably going to get a set of swifts for mine. If I had the money I'd probably get some JIC, T1R, or TIEN coilovers. Keep us updated on what you choose.

Originally before I got the Tein RS setup, I was going to go with the Ground Control coilover with stock shocks because many people gave it good reviews. But I came across a deal I couldn't pass up on the Tein's, so I ended up selling the GC's to another member on this forum here.

I have the Espelir's and I really like them. The drop is perfect and the ride is nice. I also hear that Swift is pretty good.

If you just want to lower the stance for looks and don't care that much about performance then I would stick with springs. Unless you have the cash to get a full coilover. If you auto-x or track the car then you might want to go with coilovers. I don't see a differnce in handling with my Espelir's but then again I don't track the car which is where you will see the differnce.

Yeah I think I'll probably go with springs now and later on add some Koni shocks to it. Unless I find some really good deals on coilovers. Thanks

I had H and R's forever, once the shocks got tired it didn't ride bad, but it's definitely as nice as the Megan coilovers I have now... for entry level coilovers, I'm very happy with them... although I do wonder how springs and Koni's would be, had koni yellows on my last car and looooved them.

---I still have the H and R springs sitting in the garage.

Brian, you had the H&R's on your S? How do you like them? Its a mild drop F0.75/R0.6 Did it sag lower after awhile? If so did it sag to about a 1 inch drop? How much gap did you have with the H&R? What about the gap with the Espeiler? I noticed that they are less then an inch (~.8) up front and about ~1.2 in the rear. Am I right? Thanks for the info everyone.
