Default Swapping seats for EP3 seats

What's the best way to go about this? I have a guy that's willing to do a straight up trade for his mint EP3 seats but he says his rails are welding on? I'm not sure how to go about this because the S is my daily and I can't afford to be taking seats out and not knowing if I can get the other in there. Anybody that's done anything like this, your advice is greatly appreciated.

I actually don't think the EP seats will fit in an s2k. They may be the same general shape, but the EP seats are thick as hell.

I believe that the ep3 seats are too wide and too thick to fit in the S2000 interior.

Yeah man....I had a Ep3 before the S, and they are way thicker, i doubt they'll fit in the S. But give it a try.

Maybe just try the passenger seat first?

Don't the EP3 seats sit higher?

Lets see, the S2000 has been out for the better part of 7 years now. To date, no one has swapped in EP3 seats that I know of into the S2k. Wonder why, maybe because it's unsafe and it won't fit?

Having driven an EP3 extensively along with the S2k, I can say with some certainty that you will need to modify the rails IF you can even shoehorn the seats in. Even then, it will sit much higher than the S2k seats which may cause other problems such as impaired forward visibility and your knees hitting the bottom of the steeringwheel amongst other things.

Honestly, don't waste your time with it.
