I'm gonna end up going for cusco sways as well as cusco chassis reinforcments.

Keep things simple with one company.

J's doesn't make sway bars or an x-brace.

Answer -- it depends on what you're looking for, really. Do you auto-x, road race, etc., go to shows, or just drive on the street?

SWAY BARS:

If you're serious about racing, which you're probably not since you're asking the question in this forum, then go with a good adjustable front sway bar from a company like Comptech, Gendron, or Saner (Tracy Sports has one they've been working on as well, but nobody's used it AFAIK).

If you just want something for the street, Mugen, ASM, Swift, Cusco, and Tanabe all make sway bars, there's a thread that lists the different thicknesses of all the sway bars somewhere on the board.

X-BRACE:

Just know that the true JDM x-braces (like Spoon) have a small brace on the wrong side (for LHD) that basically makes it to where you spill oil on the brace every time you do an oil change unless you tilt the car (not safe). Besides that, lots of companies have solutions that are basically the same.

I bought one off a guy on the board that I think ended up being a fake JIC bar, and the fitment on it sucked. I sold it to a friend for cheap, and it took 3 guys with a crowbar to get it to fit on. Make sure you get an authentic, good quality one!

Are you gonna be even driving hard enough for X-brace? I seriously doubt you're gonna feel any difference unless you are gonna track the car.

X brace is meant to keep you stable in rough areas.
