No appreciable gain can be contributed to the pulleys
look at the overlay of both his dynos...gained a pretty impressive amount of midrange power, pretty impressive if you ask me for such a cheap mod..every little bit helps..

wow... maybe you did not get the ford racing example. yes, the ford racing pulleys are underdriven but they do not have a harmonic dampener and are sold by ford motor company (see site information on bottom of the page). oh noes, why would ford sell something like that when it "destroys" engines.

the S2000 ones sold by TODA, T1R, and Unorthodox are not underdriven, that is correct. as shown with my previous post with the ford racing example, there are plenty of ones that are underdriven (you can look thru the unorthodox website) and find examples if you would like.

i spent hours looking online doing "useful research" on aftermarket pulleys, i could not find an original post of where the "pulleys will destroy your motor" myth/urban legend comes from that has the motor completely torn apart and gone thru (maybe you could post a link, since you are full of useful information) to eliminate other causes. i did find these two links thou.

"You must have a reliable damper that is capable of properly combating these vibrations and twist. Your stock damper, or stock style damper, is simply a piece of soft steel that has a rubber ring that has been melted in between another steel ring." i see the piece of rubber on the crank pulley, but is that considered sandwiched?

well, on the bright side, your response did give me the idea to submit it to mythbusters. my post is linked below if you would like to follow it and see if it leads anywhere.

im not sure if you read the post i quoted but all you did is post links to under drive pulleys and made no comment which left me to interpret it on my own. Which i did. Have fun making random comparisons with other companies.

Hey everyone. Has anyone had any issues with these. I have had mine on for about 6 months and was cleaning my engine bay today and found that the water pump pulley has a couple hairline fractures in it coming off of the bolt holes. I will put a pic up tomorrow as it is dark here already. I curious to see if T1R has any warranty or would be willing to do a swap for a new one. Glad I kept my stockys...

How long ago did you buy the pulleys? As someone said they did a design change.
