I have the full set of pullies, including the crank, going to put on all the drive pullies soon. I have the updated idler pulley with the rivits, but how do I know if I have the updated water pump pulley?

If you click on the drop box below the video for more info, it has a blog that has the weight of each individual pulley vs. stock. great write-up!
has the dyno sheet for comparison of with and without.
If you think about it... 3.1hp and 2.2tq is only at the top. thats not even considering lower rpm gains. If you look at his dyno sheet, the biggest gain i saw in tq was at about 5500 rpms which appears to be about a 10tq gain. not too bad in my opinion.
as for hp, maybe about a 12 hp gain in the same rpm range as above. i'm guessing this is where vtec pops.
so does does the car hit a little harder when vtec crosses over?

I wouldn't put any aftermarket crank pulley on anycar. I had a 2000 civic si and thought it was a good purchase and the ads had me convinced, but after 1-2 months of having it on my car was acting weird and rattling. Come to find out i was starting to have crank walk. The pulley was rotating on the shaft and vibrating like crazy. My opinion is its too much of a risk to install something like that unless its a full out race car that u can rebuild all the time neway. risk vs hp gain....not worth it. Never had any problem w/ accessory pullies though. Thought id give my input and experience. Saw someone said there shaft was splintered and if i would have kept mine on longer i would have prob had the same problem.
