Default T1R Shift knob

Quick question. I read that this knob fades in time, and also wanted to know if theres a way to make it look new? I read on here that somepne tried to "BURN" it again.. wanna know how that worked.. or if it dies at all.

If you have it. can you post pix of how low it actually makes your knob look?

It's possible to get the color back if it does fade but it takes skill most aftermarket knobs sit about an 0.5in-1in lower than stock

You have to reburn the knob and i doubt your fireplace is hot enough to get the color you want.

i had AJR re-burn mine for me.

Not quite sure what they did...but you have to let it air-cool. if you dip it in water apparently it'll leave water marks on it.

Also asked me what colour i wanted. (gold, blue, purple)
