AP2 tails will fit but they are not bolt in. You need to cut sheet metal behind the lights and modify the wiring harness'.

Yep, I have 08 taillights on my 02. You will have to cut quite a bit of metal out of the car, make your own brackets for a few of the bolts, and modify your connectors to work. You can also solder in the whole ap2 harness. There is a thread with pics somewhere, i'll try to find it. You can just use the foam gasket the new tails come with for a template, cut out what's necessary, then if you can get your hands on an ap2 taillight harness get it. I got the whole harness with my tails and just cut the old one, and soldered in the new one and it worked perfect. You can also grind down your current clips to make them work. There will be a few bolts that don't bolt into anything, you will have to get some sheet metal or something and measure, cut it, and drill the holes so it helps hold the tails in.
