Default Tanabe Concept G Install

Hey everyone. I put in my new Tanabe Concept G a couple days ago, and I took a few pics during the install to share. The install went very smoothly, and the advice I got on here before it helped a lot. The hardest part was of course taking off the stock exhaust, but once it was off it was pretty easy.

The stock exhaust, just getting it up on the lift.

The second hardest part was getting all of the old bolts off.

The hardest part was getting the hooks out of the donuts, but once they were off it was all downhill from there.

everything was very clean, and easy to figure out.

I am VERY pleased with the look and sound of this exhaust! Sorry if the picture quality wasn't all that great. I had to use my phone, but hopefully sometime in the next week or so, I will be posting the before (possibly) and after video. The before depends on if I can find what I need to download it to the computer. Hope this was helpful to someone.

Thanks! The sound is AMAZING! I don't think I'll ever get tired of hearing it. I'll just be sittin at a light or somewhere and just tap the gas just to hear it. I am very happy with my choice. I'll post a video of the sound hopefully soon so you can hear.

i have this same exhaust also and i love it. very good quality exhaust for the price. full stainless cat back. also has a very good quality sound. no too raspy, no too loud. does have some slight droning, but i think pretty much almost every exhaust for the s2 has some drone. i am still running the stock cat. one thing i noticed is that my exhaust sound quality seemed to get better with usage, as the packing broke in. seemed to get slightly quieter and a little less drone. might have been just cause i finally got used to it. well for the sound, price and quality, i think that this is one of the best sounding exhausts. at $850 for a full dual stainless cat back system, you cant go wrong. also the exhaust is one that is not so loud that it needs to come with a silencer to pass the db levels. i simply love this exhaust. sounds wicked sick when wot in the tunnels. here's a pic of mine.

tanabe concept g ftw!

Next time for the exhaust hangers, put some simple green or wd-40 and the hangers will slide right off. Makes it a breeze. As for the bolts, try pb blast, that stuff makes wd-40 look like water.
