Default Tanabe exhausts

I was looking into the tanabe exhausts... They offer two which I was thinking to get.

This: http://www.tanabe-usa.com/touringmedalion.asp?id=7
And this: http://www.tanabe-usa.com/conceptg.asp?id=8

Both adds HP and sounds are under 93db (so they say) but what's really difference between the two rather than looks... Will the Touring version be more restrictive compare to the Concept G?

concept G was way too loud for my tastes. but your tastes are different so do your research, and hear it in person is the best thing to do.

I think the sound difference between the two is the dB curve. While both may peak under 93 dB the Concept G is probably louder and has resonance (drone) bumps at lower RPMs.

Also, if you're not a fan of the N1 / fart can style, the Touring Medallion is the way to go.

I have the touring and love it. Not much gain but definitely a throatier sound. Not loud but growls when at WOT and Vtec. it is definitely a quieter exhaust than most out there. Only thing quieter would be the stock or maybe the mugen.

Great video thanks for posting... I think I'm leaning towards the Touring because as we all know cops aren't liking exhaust that looks like n1 style and somewhat loud... At least having an exhaust that looks stock and have good growl I can get away with it.

I always thought mugen exhaust are pretty loud... I remember hearing one. And aren't they expensive?
